Welcome to the Networking
and Media Communications Research Lab at Computer Science Department
at Kent
State University
Currently we are involved in a number of research projects in the area of internetworking, multimedia communication, streaming video, and perceptual engineering, active networking, peer-to-peer computing and medical imaging. |
One of the main
focus of
the lab is the network aware internetwork systems and
applications.
A number of new research opportunities are open to prospective graduate students. Advanced undergraduate students are also welcome to participate in exploratory projects. Students planning to participate in the research are strongly recommened to prepare themselves by taking the courses in the areas of computer networks, internetworking and multimedia. |
